Sonia Friedman was awarded the Equity Services to Theatre Award and Sonia Friedman Productions also collected 7 awards for recent productions and co-productions.
At the awards ceremony, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child was voted Best West End Show and Best Show Poster, while The Ferryman was awarded Best New Play, Best Direction and Best Supporting Actor in a Play for Fra Fee’s portrayal of Michael Carney in the original London cast. In addition to these, Hamlet was voted Best Play Revival, with Juliet Stevenson being awarded Best Supporting Actress in a Play.
