In June, Mark Rylance will make his Bristol Old Vic debut in Semmelweis, a powerful world premiere based on the true story of Dr Ignaz Semmelweis.

To Kill a Mockingbird will open at the Gielgud Theatre in May 2020

Producers Scott Rudin, Barry Diller and Sonia Friedman Productions announced today that To Kill a Mockingbird, Aaron Sorkin’s new play based on Harper Lee’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, directed by Bartlett Sher, will open at London’s Gielgud Theatre in May 2020.

Olivier Award winner, Juliet Stevenson, ‘delivering one of the peak performances of the theatrical year’ (The Guardian), will reprise her role as Professor Ruth Wolff.
