Samuel L. Jackson, John David Washington, Danielle Brooks Starring in Broadway Revival of ‘The Piano Lesson’

The revival of August Wilson’s play will be directed by LaTanya Richardson Jackson, who will be the first woman to direct a Wilson play on Broadway.

The revival is scheduled to begin performances on 19 Sept at the St. James Theater; the run is expected to last 16 weeks.

Brian Moreland (“Thoughts of a Colored Man”), Sonia Friedman Productions and Tom Kirdahy (“Hadestown”) are the producers.
