In line with the latest government-approved Performing Arts working guidelines, seats in all levels of the theatre auditorium have been adjusted to ensure social distancing, with several full rows removed in the stalls and chequerboard style seating in the circles and balcony to ensure 1m+ distance between bookings. This means that whilst you may not have an empty row in front of you, you will still be 1m apart from the person sitting in front or behind you. To allow for 1m distance we ask theatregoers to adhere to extra safety mitigations, such as the mandatory wearing of face coverings, temperature checks and following allotted arrival times. Ventilation in the auditorium and front of house areas at the Noel Coward Theatre has also been adjusted in view of CISBSE Guidelines and reccomendations, including ensuring that the ventilation serves 100% frresh outside air.
