Sonia Friedman and Scott Rudin will present the new adaptation of George Orwell’s iconic novel 1984 at Broadway’s Hudson Theatre (139-141 West 44th Street). This new adaptation of Orwell’s iconic dystopian novel, created by Robert Icke and Duncan Macmillan, heads to New York after four wildly successful London runs. The strictly limited engagement will open on Thursday, June 22, 2017.

Recognised in the Queen's 90th birthday honours list in June 2016, Sonia was presented with the award today at Buckingham Palace by HRH Prince Charles.

David Tennant returns to the West End in March 2017 to play the title role in Patrick Marber’s Don Juan in Soho.
The production will preview at Wyndham’s Theatre from 17 March 2017, with press night on 28 March 2017. It will complete its strictly limited eleven week run on 10 June 2017.

Jez Butterworth returns to the Royal Court with his new play THE FERRYMAN directed by Sam Mendes, who makes his Royal Court debut. Developed by and co-produced with Sonia Friedman Productions and in association with Neal Street Productions, it will premiere in the Jerwood Theatre Downstairs, Monday 24 April 2017 – Saturday 20 May 2017.

Patrick Marber’s critically acclaimed production of Tom Stoppard’s Travesties transfers to the West End in 2017 for a limited run at the Apollo Theatre – with over 100 tickets at each performance at just £20. The production opens on 14 February, with previews from 3 February, and runs until 29 April.
